Dear Reader,
At the end of a calendar year, I typically reflect and think about everything I’ve ended up not accomplishing, but I’m closing this year feeling satisfied and excited for what’s to come. I’m thinking of January as a refresh and the start of another 366 days (next year is a leap year) of new possibilities and opportunities.
This is my last newsletter post of 2023. And with that, I’d like to announce that this is my very last newsletter post ever! I will be heading into newsletter retirement and thank you for your readership.
Just kidding! I have found this newsletter to be a source of great joy and I think my writing has improved ever so slightly because of this practice. Twenty-two posts isn’t a whole lot, but I’m proud. Thank you to those who have been reading this since January! I hope you stick around for another year and have a restorative end of the month.

I’m considering using Readymag to revamp my portfolio website. I have no engineering skills, so no-code website builders are more appealing for me, but the level of customization I can do with Readymag is a little overwhelming.
Someone please take this pyramid of Ferrero Rocher chocolates away from me for I am certain I will eat them all and be told I have a cavity by my dentist!
I performed in my third improv showcase a couple of weeks ago and it felt like our strongest one yet. I don’t know if I’m just imagining things, but improv has really helped me cope with uncertainty both on stage and in life a lot more. I also think that it’s helped me feel inspired and more creative. If you’ve ever even had the slightest thought of wanting to take a class, I’d urge you to do it.
I haven’t been creating anything tangible these days, but I’m dreaming up what an art show could look like. If you have any recommendations for an indoor NYC gallery space I could use that could hold 3 people’s artwork on walls for 1-2 weekend days, I’d greatly appreciate any suggestions!
👋🏻 Thank you for reading. Be kind to yourself, always.

I'm not familiar with Readymag, but I can tell you that Squarespace is pretty great and has apparently been improved since I made my website about 5 years ago. I'm due for an update!
